My husband and I are expecting our first baby together on 3/12/22.
I’m excited, nervous, and mostly worried I can’t afford to take care of the baby. Our marriage is new, and we were still caught up in the excitement of the wedding as we adapted to our new roles. The pregnancy was unexpected, but we’re not unhappy about finding out.
We get by, but I want my baby to have the best of everything. I’m nervous that we’re going to be struggling. I like to feel stable and secure. I am just wondering if anyone else feels the same way?

Trust me, soooo many younger moms feel this way!
I was 19 when I had my first child, 21 with my second and 25 with my third. My biggest question was always how and if we were going to get by. My husband and I have worked so hard to budget out our spending and stretch our dollars as far as they can go.
Just be sure to really take a deep look into your finances and get rid of automatic subscriptions and things that you can't justify the cost of any more. Put your weekly, monthly, and quarterly finances into a spreadsheet and do your best not to go over your spending budgets. This has worked for my husband and me for years and I'm so happy that we have done it this way because we are getting so close to being able to buy our first house!
