I have slow-rising hCG levels this early in my pregnancy. Is there hope?
< 1 min read
I’m looking for some wisdom here. After transferring a day 5 blastocyst in a fresh IVF cycle, my beta hCG values were as follows: ER+12: HCG 43 Has anyone had anything like this? Has anyone had slow rising HCG levels in early pregnancy and gone on to be okay? The values were great initially and totally within the norm, but then the doubling really slowed down, and the value on ER+23 was way low for that day. However, the doubling rate seemed to pick back up again by the next scan. The studies I have read about show that it’s a sign of impending miscarriage for most people with numbers like these. Is there any hope, or should I be worried? I always thought your levels should double daily, but should I be thinking positively as my levels are still rising no matter how fast? I really want to have a baby. ![]() |

Wow! You have sure done your homework on this. I have absolutely no idea and the only advice i can think of is that this is something to explore with your doctor. They will know what this means and be able to give the best advice for your situation. I really hope it works out well for you.
