What is your kid’s favorite traditional food ?

My kids will be on a summer break in June. We always try to plan family projects during this break. This year my kids have come up with an interesting idea of trying out food from different parts of the world.

My kids love my fried chicken with mashed potatoes or burger steak with mashed potatoes. They can eat it like every day! Sometimes, when we dine out, they'd order the same and compare it to mine. They'd say mine is better all the time! I got my recipe from my mom and these are also our favorites growing up.
There is a lot of traditional food in our country but nothing beats the same old fried chicken and burger steak for my kids. I just have to make sure that the chicken will be crunchy and juicy, the steak will be savory and tasteful and we are all good to go!

My kids love pasta dishes. They also love things like butter chicken with rice, Singapore noodles and tacos. We are lucky that here in Australia our cuisine is extremely varied and incorporates so many cultures. I think what you are doing is a great idea :)

My kids love chicken pot pie. They will eat it all year round and especially love my homemade version, which takes longer, but I enjoy seeing how happy it makes them!
My tips for the best chicken pot pie is to use homemade stock, add a squirt of lemon juice and a small drizzle of maple syrup to the filling.
