Aside from a missed period and a positive pregnancy kit test, what are the symptoms you felt that made you 100% sure that you are pregnant? ![]() |

For me it was the extremely heightened sense of smell. This started extremely early on for me - even before my period was missed. I could suddenly smell everything and anything and many familiar smells began to bother me. Other than this I experienced sore breasts and the nausea started at about 6 weeks. All pretty common symptoms :)

During my both pregnancies, I had severe nausea and morning sickness. I was over sensitive to smells, rather certain smells would make me vomit. It was so difficult for me to cook meet and use onions in cooking because I couldn’t stand the smell.
Similarly, strong fragrances would make me sick. I could not stand loud music or strong lights. Pregnancies have been quite difficult for me.

With my first child, my sense of smell was so sensitive. I am a chef and worked in a kitchen at the time. I remember walking in and being able to smell every single thing in the kitchen. It was so weird! It eventually weaned, but was a strange first trimester thing.
With my third, and only daughter, I was very nauseous all the time. I wasn't that sick, but just constantly nauseous. Looking back, perhaps that was the indicator that it was a girl!
